I was sat in the press box at the Ricoh Arena when I first realised that I was studying the “wrong” degree. It was a dismal evening in Coventry, Wasps were hosting Toulouse in the Champions Cup, and it dawned on me that I wanted to become a journalist.

In June, I completed my Politics and International Studies degree at the University of Warwick and have accepted a place to study Newspaper Journalism MA at City, University of London, from September.

The Boar was awarded the Student Publication Association Award for Best Sports Coverage under my editorship - with my coverage of British ice hockey earning special recognition from the judges.

I work on a freelance basis (covering mainly football, ice hockey, and F1) – and would love to speak to you about any available opportunities.
